without more reproduction info, I can take care of the ST, which is a symptom... but probably will not be able to
resolve the root cause.

Log: #147444 : log info about broken build.xml but instead of using Exceptions.printstackTrace()...
   once the user starts manipulating the project, they will run into warnings about the build.xml file that are friendlier
