Description Lark Fitzgerald 2008-10-14 22:18:32 UTC
Tested using FX Cont trunk build 349 with SDK:
Product: javafx-1.0dev, Platform: windows-i586, Build-Number: 708, Build-ID: 2008-10-13_03-09-52 on NB6.5:
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200810060201)
Java: 1.6.0_10-rc; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b14
System: Windows Vista version 6.0 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)

1. open a existing fx app
2. right click it in projects window > Properties
3. select Run from left hand list
4. Press New button.

This brings the Create New Profile Dialog. This dialog should have a help button that tells you what a profile is.

Closing as wontfix because this is quite an old issue and the panel no longer behaves in the manner described. The New button currently opens a dialog prompting for a new name for the configuration. No help id is required to tell the user how to type a name in the text field.

The help topic for the Run panel provides details on creating a configuration.
