When I select "Profile -> Attach Profiler", then click on "Part of Application" and try to define root methods by clicking on the "Define" link, switching the "View" between "Web Application View" and "Default Package View" does not change anything (see screenshot) I'm using 6.5 RC1, Windows XP, JDK 1.6u10 Btw: expanding the tree for the Liferay source code (for the first time) takes about 5 Minutes (!!) on my computer (2GHz single core, 2GB RAM)

There is obviously an error when switching views in "all applicaitons" mode. As a workaround till the bug is fixed you might select the project that corresponds to the application you want to attach to.
