it looks like the link to download the prelude build is going to end up having this form: http://download.java.net/glassfish/v3-prelude/promoted/latest.zip OR, this form: http://download.java.net/glassfish/v3-prelude/promoted/glassfish-v3-plugin.zip it currently has this form in the v3 plugin for 6.5... http://java.net/download/glassfish/v3/promoted/glassfish-v3-plugin.zip This URL will get the trunk of v3... which is going to become really unstable again, soon.
Peter reminded me that this is the fall-back URL... the primary download url is computed by reading data from serverplugins.netbeans.org, which has been updated. lowering to p3 and setting tm to 7.0
I made changes that address this... but did not update this issue. http://hg.netbeans.org/main/rev/244917461079 and more specifically http://hg.netbeans.org/main/diff/244917461079/glassfish.common/src/org/netbeans/modules/glassfish/common/wizards/AddServerLocationVisualPanel.java
