Description davisn 2009-02-09 19:59:59 UTC
-User was asked to activate Java EE component even he is using the Netbean All/Java version and already activated the
Glassfish V3 Prelude (Web & Java EE)
-This issue is about usability and compatibility with previous versions. Why makes it harder and different than previous
version

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Netbean Dev 7.0 All version from http://bits.netbeans.org/download/trunk/nightly/latest/
2. From the Plugin dialog, select to activate Glassfish V3 Prelude
3. Create a Web project
Note:
I again was asked to activate the Java EE

I would say that such behaviour can be controlled by various dependencies (recommends, requires, etc).
Anyway, it`s the responsibility of the module owner.

I think this issue is filed against a very obsolete implementation of the FoD.

Since the user cannot enable the plugin separately, it is invalid now.

Closing as such.
