When looking at very large files (e.g. many of the files in the NetBeans source code... try CasualDiff in java.source), NetBeans takes a long time to 
discover/display all the members in the Navigator. If the user clicks on another file and comes back, the scanning appears to start again from scratch! This 
results in the Navigator being out of action for as long as 10 seconds on every swap (and needless CPU power). It would be a great improvement if the 
scanning didn't restart.
