Description Masaki Katakai 2009-05-31 03:28:24 UTC
It seems that external browser (firefox on OpenSolaris 2008.11) won't start
when I select "Show Javadoc" on e.g. "String" on editor. I don't see this issue
on Mac OS X and Windows. It happens on OpenSolaris and Solaris.

The following message is displayed in IDE log.

Error showing url: The specified location is not supported

I'm not sure if it's OS issue or NetBeans issue.

Workaround:

Change browser setting the OS default to Firefox on option panel.

In case of switching from default to Firefox helped it looks to be an issue in extbrowser code. OpenSolaris uses GNOME
and it has the Firefox as its default browser AFAIK. Reassigning.
