When printing a Java file, you can either choose "Print as in Editor" or not. But if "Print as in Editor" is selected, the line number check box will be greyed and no line number is showed in the preview window even I enabled "Show line number" from View menu. If I want to make the the line number be printed, I have to uncheck "Print as in Editor" option, but this will result losing the tab spaces. It is tough for me to make NetBeans print exactly as what I wanted.
I restarted the application several times and even I've no idea on what exactly I've done, now it seems to be a false accusation. So I close the issue currently. If I did find a way to show the problem, I will reopen it later. Sorry for the inconvinience.

Option "Print as in Editor" takes *picture* from the Editor as is and sends to printer/preview. If option the option is off, *text* is taken, information about color, fonts, size are also taken and all is printed together. In last case, I can add line numbers, because I operate with text (sequence of chars). In the first case I can't add chars to picture.
