Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200907240201) Java: 1.5.0_19; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_19-137 System: Mac OS X version 10.5.7 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb) Steps to reproduce: -start IDE with clean userdir -create new j2se project -in Projects view select the project's top node and push Cmd+F to search -in the search dialog type the searching word to the 'Containing Text' component -->>push Enter - nothing happens. The Enter key needs to be pushed again to start searching.
What is your system/window manager ? I'm trying to reproduce it with 6.7.1 on Ubuntu 9.04/Gnome but search works right after the first 'Enter'
It reproduces on my WinXP.
I can't reproduce this issue on the following build: Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 090918) Java: 1.6.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.3-b02 System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1251; ru_RU (nb) Userdir: C:\Documents and Settings\vvg\.netbeans\dev After some text has been entered into the "Containing Text" field a status of the "Find" button has been changed to enabled and it has been processed like a default button of the "Find in Projects" dialog, i.e. immediately after first pressing of the Enter key the finding was normally started. Of course, I didn't forget to clear the user dir before start the IDE. May be something has been changed in other modules since the buggy version? I'll close this issue as WORKSFORME. Please, feel free to re-open it if you'll find that it doesn't work for you.
