With JDK 1.4beta:

Switching editor windows with [Alt+left|right] inserts characters into the text 
when releasing Alt-key.

I'm still seeing this in NetBeans 3.3b3. I get random characters 
inserted whenever I use alt-leftarrow or alt-rightarrow.

I even cannot switch editor windows with [Alt+left|right]

I detected previous behavior with JDK1.4 beta and the build from 6.Nov.
Now I use JDK1.4 beta 3 and latest dev build(7.Nov) and the tab switching is correct.
I have reproduced behaviour with character insertion.
Reassigning back to editor.

I've just downloaded and installed NetBeans 3.3b4. I'm using it with 
JDK1.4B3 and I'm still seeing this problem. The character appears 
*after* releasing the 'Alt' key

this bug has been already fixed in [maintrunk]
Beta releases are made weekly, that's why the fix didn't appear in Beta4.
Beta5 was released and the fix works correctly there. Please verify.
