Description erayeun 2009-09-07 14:18:31 UTC
Hi

Todays Netbeans IDE have function for import Eclipse projects, but it is not sufficient for Eclipse based projects to
have the alternative to chose Netbeans IDE in a Java project.
Development projects have often requirment on Code Preferences for a java project, this is necessarly for make it easy
to use with e.g. Clearcase and for follow design rules etc.

Netbeans IDE import of Eclipse Preferences file is important prerequisite if Netbeans IDE shall take marketshare from
Eclipse.

Lowering prio to p4. NetBeans cannot emulate all settings from the Eclipse JDT core nor the settings from its thousands of plugins.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,
