This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
I had netbeans 6.7. After it installed the latest upgrades, it wouldn't run at all. So I downloaded/installed 6.7.1. It doesn't seem to allow me to set break points for debugging in the java code.
Can you please attach the messages.log file from <netbeans-user-dir>/var/log/ folder? So that we can see exactly which modules do you have installed and if some exceptions were not thrown. Does the problem persists when you restart NetBeans? Does it help if you select some other file and then go back and try to set the breakpoint? Does it help if you use a clean user-dir? I mean shut down NetBeans, move .netbeans folder somewhere else (for later use if this does not help or if you have some important settings there) and start NetBeans again?
