Description Jaromir Uhrik 2009-10-13 10:03:56 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200910130201)
Java: 1.6.0_11; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b16
System: Windows Vista version 6.0 running on x86; Cp1250; cs_CZ (nb)

Kenai Switcher uses existing kenai instances from a static list of instances. There should be UI for editing instances
(add, remove, modify) - IMHO it should be similar to Web Browser management in General tab of Tools|Options.

Or we can use Services tab...
Comment 2 Tomas Pavek 2009-10-13 12:25:27 UTC
I'd prefer Services. This is a set of servers a user can connect to, we have other servers there as well.

Besides nodes in Services it would be nice (but not necessary) to have something like a "Kenai server manager" window
which could also be invoked from other places (e.g. from Kenai menu, or from the kenai switcher) - similar e.g. to the
way libraries are managed.

Anyway, for 6.8 this can be very simple (I can even imagine reading a config file), post 6.8 we need to solve this as
part of complete support for multiple Kenai instances.
