From Add Server Instance wizard one could download and install recent version of GF - that's very nice. One could also cancel download, but there is no way to estimate how long it may take. My scenario: 1. Started fresh installation of NetBeans and attempted to create a Web Project, 2. Realized that I need to register a copy of GF from previous installation, but IDE offered to download the fresh one. After that the only action accessible is to cancel the download with no estimation on how long it may take. And finally on rather good Internet connection download took 33 minutes to complete. Not a big problem, but major inconvenience.
