I have been trying all day to download Netbeans 6.8 (final) and the download keeps resetting midway. I have been unsuccessful in downloading it fully.
Could you please use download manager for that? Which URL does it give? Which language have you selected in "IDE Language" combobox (maybe shown in native language) Anyway, yes, servers are now overloaded with 6.8 downloads. We`ll turn on mirrors as soon as it they are synced. That would balance the load.
The URL is http://download.netbeans.org/netbeans/6.8/final/bundles/netbeans-6.8-ml-windows.exe I am still unable to download Netbeans.
Any word on resolving this? I have tried multiple machines, different download managers (even Sun Download Manager), different ISPs. The issue is most definitely on your end. Well... it looks like the mirrors are in place now. The download URL is showing http://services.netbeans.org/bouncer/index.php?product=netbeans-6.8-ml&os=windows For me it is redirected to http://dlc-cdn-rd.sun.com/c1/netbeans/sync/6.8/bundles/netbeans-6.8-ml-windows.exe?e=1260548478&h=563bfbde1f78794b113538b236c7eef9/.exe What is the real URL that the download is going from? I downloaded it again (using FlashGet, then wget) and in both cases it works fine. Could you please try to download it with wget (attached) using wget.exe -c -o log.txt -d "http://services.netbeans.org/bouncer/index.php?product=netbeans-6.8-ml&os=windows" and then attach log.txt to this issue if the download is still unsuccessful? 2 Jan Pirek: Jan, it looks like the download can`t be continued after been stopped. Or, at least, FlashGet was not able to continue the download (divided into 8 parts) after I paused it. PS. I caught it once, but was not able to reproduce. So.. no details.

Hello, according to the dlc, this issue has been fixed (for NetBeans and VirtualBox as well). I was able to download -> stop -> start again using 'wget -c' from the dlc now. Therefore closing.
