Hello,
I have version 6.7.1 Now there is version 6.8 when I run check for updates feature from help menu, the result is " There are no updates available ".

I respect that it tells about the new version, but this don't occurred.

I am sorry to disappoint you Said but major version upgrades are not supported. IDE only informs users if new patches for the installed NetBeans version are available. Hence I am closing this bug as WONTFIX until the requested functionality is implemented. Thanks for your understanding and time you spent to contribute to the NetBeans project!
