Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build null)
Java: 1.6.0_17; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 14.3-b01-101
System: Mac OS X version 10.5.8 running on x86_64; MacRoman; en_US (nb)

When the user selects main menu "Team|Kenai|Login to Kenai" and logs in to an instance of kenai then the kenai dashboard should show the content related to the currently joined instance. 

The other question is what to do with different entry points for login dialog - whether the kenai instance should be switched no matter from where the dialog is invoked or not. cc-ing "olangr" to help with this.

Can you please give an example here? I'm not sure I understand ..

For instance user want to modify some bug and bugtracking module invokes login dialog. Should we switch kenai dashboard in this case?
