Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build cdev-1948-on-100127)
Java: 1.6.0_17; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 14.3-b01-101
System: Mac OS X version 10.5.8 running on x86_64; MacRoman; en_US (nb)

-start IDE with clear userdir
-invoke main menu Team>Kenai>Login to Kenai
-fill in your credential and push "Login" button
-in the "Login to" combobox select "add new" immediately 
-the "New Kenai Instance" dialog appears 
-->> I was able only to write a kenai instance name and then the "New Keani Instance" dialog disappeared and in the console there appeared java.io.IOException
