Just to clarify, this issue and issue 182025 are not exactly identical, though the cause may be the same. Though the name is not persistent in the dialog, when you build the project the name is correct in the title bar. issue 182025 is about the application name not appearing in the main menu in OS X.
can you pls verify whether the fix for #182025 takes care of your problem as well pls?

I reopened issue 182025 because this fix did not resolve the issue
