When I stop/restart my tomcat server from within netbeans, the java.exe & cmd.exe and conhost.exe processes that where spawned are not terminated. As java.exe alone takes 1.4 GB of my internal memory it's important that they are terminated before starting a new instance. Terminating the java.exe with the windows taskmanager also terminates the cmd/conhost processes belonging to the jave.exe instance.
NetBeans just calls shutdown script of the tomcat. So perhaps the script does not work ok. Can you check it, please?
