When I try to add the new glassfish to NetBeans Servers I fail to do so. In Services tab I right click on Server and select "Add Server...". From the server list I select Glassfish V3 and in the Name I write "Glassfish V3.1". In the Installation Location I point it to the top folder of the Glassfish V3.1 application server (the folder contains bin, glassfish, javadb, mq, pkg), there is a warning sign at the bottom of the page saying "C:\Program Files\glassfishv31 does not have a usable default domain" but I can still click next. In the Domain Location page the combo box of Domain is populated with all the domains I have but any exist domain that I select there is an error message at the bottom saying "nsupported domain at domain1; admin-listener is disabled or no enabled http-listner" and Next is diabled. I am able to enter a name of domain that is not yet exist and the message at the bottom change to information saying "Create new embedded domain: domain12345" and click Next does create a new domain and register is with NetBeans and everything works great. The only thing that is not working great is registering exist domain. Thank you, Ido.
Reassigning.
6.8 and 3.1 -- is not supported. will never work. will not apply fixes to make it work. 6.9 and 3.1 -- is not supported. may work today. will probably break in the near future. upgrading a 6.9 userdir that has a registered 3.1 instance will not be supported. dev and 3.1 -- this is where 3.1 support is being developed and any and all 'fixes' will be applied. NOTE: 3.1 is a moving target. the dev build is a moving target. Not all NB dev builds will support all 3.1 promoted builds... ever. 3.1 will be supported in the next major feature release of NetBeans (not 6.9.1). Since I applied a fix for this issue in 6.9... I am going to mark this issue as fixed.
