When I delete the last (empty) line from a Java file then the line numbering is not updated.

It works for me in current dev build:
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201109040600)
Java: 1.6.0_26; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 20.1-b02

I also tried it in mac os x.

Do you still have this problem? It could be fixed with a new feature - ctrl + mouse scroll - for zooming text in editor.
