Description esmithbss 2011-01-03 21:00:01 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build nbms-and-javadoc-6381-on-101224)
Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_22
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 17.1-b03

When an Empty Ant-Based Project is opened from within the File tree, the file appears twice in the File and Project windows within the IDE.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create a new Empty Ant-Base Project
2) Within the Project Window, request to close the project
3) Switch to the File window to ensure the project is closed.
4) Within the File window, request to open the project.

* At this point, you should see multiple project entries under the File and Project trees.

Can't reproduce. Step #4 is also unclear; I just used the link in the Welcome screen to reopen.
Comment 2 esmithbss 2011-01-15 22:21:43 UTC
Step 4 meant select the project, pop up the menu, and open the project from the menu.

Huh? Wouldn't the Files tab be empty at this point? What exactly are you selecting? Steps to reproduce seem to be incomplete.

I would have thought so as well, but for some reason, at least for the version this was reported under, the closed project was not removed from the tree. Don't kow the reason or rhyme of why, but after 30+ second of the project being closed, I was able to click on the project in the file tree and it duplicated within the tree.
