steps to reproduce:
1) Run 3.2.1, clean userdir
2) Mount some directory with image in it (don't use pre-mounted sample dir or
you'll face issue 19347)
3) Open image, exit 3.2.1
4) run 3.3 (either dev build or release33 branch) woth clean userdir
5) skip startup import
6) Projects/Project Manager/Import created project from 3.2.1
exception will be thrown, gif viewer not opened.

Resolved for 3.3.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
