Trying to install NetBeans 6.9 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with virus protection program Avast! 6.0.1000 returns a warning about possibly malicious software.

p.s. Had no idea about component, just picked "Code"

It is recommended to disable firewall/antivirus before installation since
various antivirus clients reports false positive and moreover can influence the
installation process.

There is no virus in the installer, you can pick up the part of the installer that is reported by avast and submit is as a false alarm to Avast team.
