Description daniani 2011-04-12 23:52:08 UTC
dear netbeans,

Since netbeans 6.5, it's hard to set properties for grid x and grid y on "Layout Null". So, it's hard to set position of components.

I use Null layout, before change it to Free layout. Because, it's not flexible if I use Free-layout directly. Gridbag-layout is complicated.

menu Tools-Options-(tab) General - Advanced Options - Editing - GUI builder - Grid X and Grid Y, is missing.
Because of that, I 'm still using Netbeans 6.0.1 till right now.

I hope, in Netbeans 7.0 or next, that properties would be added.

Thank you for your attention.

Grid size property (a union of gridx and gridy properties) has been added into Options.
