Create a new JDBC connection pool using "GlassFish" category and here is how it looks like: <jdbc-connection-pool ...> <property name="URL" value="jdbc:derby://localhost:1527/sun-appserv-samples"/> <property name="serverName" value="localhost"/> <property name="PortNumber" value="1527"/> <property name="DatabaseName" value="sun-appserv-samples"/> <property name="User" value="APP"/> <property name="Password" value="APP"/> </jdbc-connection-pool> The first property of "URL" is redundant cause all the information already exists in the subsequent properties.
what wizards/steps/manus are used to create jdbc pool? I wonder if it's persistence related issue.
Already mentioned in the bug report. "Other" -> "GlassFish" -> "JDBC Resource" and create the pool as part of that.
