Do you have plans to create upstream pacakges for Netbeans 7, like those at http://netbeans.org/projects/installer/downloads/directory/netbeans-6.9 which are for 6.9? I'd be keen to see these contain the sources for the internationalization bundles too. I'm trying to finalise a Debian package for submission to Debian main, and am currently using the standard source package, but this is English only, and also contains some binary files which cannot be built on Debian.

There is no plan to update Ubuntu packages to 7.0.
As far as I remember netbeans-6.9 source package contains l10n sources, so you can reuse them. If you still working on creating Debian packages for netbeans please write me e-mail, I'll collect and send you all the information I have about debian packaging.
