Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.0 (Build 201104080000) Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_26 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 20.1-b02 The following link/error has been ocurring for at least a couple of days. I would like to download the examples tutorials. C:\glassfish-3.1\bin>"C:\Java\jdk1.6.0_26\bin\java" -Dimage.path="C:\glassfish-3.1\bin\\.." -jar "C:\glassfish-3.1\bin\\..\pkg/lib/pkg-bootstrap.jar" "C:\DOCUME~1\Kevin\LOCALS~1\Temp\pkg-bootstrap17428.props" Proxy: Using system proxy settings. Could not download application packages. This could be because: - a proxy server is needed to access the internet. Please ensure that the system proxy server settings in your Internet Options control panel (under Connections:LAN Settings) are correct, or set the HTTP_PROXY environment variable to the full URL of the proxy server. - the package server is down or otherwise inaccessible or it is generating invalid data. Please contact the provider of the package server. Input/output error: Connection failed for URL http://pkg.oracle.com/javaeesdk/6/release/catalog/0: 502: Proxy Error

There was a huge outage in our infrastructure which could cause this. Resolving as fixed - at least for me the URL works fine. If you can still reproduce it, don't hesitate to reopen the bug with exact steps describing what you are doing. Thanks for your report Kevin!
