Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.0.1 (Build 201107211357)
Java: 1.7.0; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 21.0-b17
System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)

On W7 when the wizard is left open and user starts doing something else (for example browse on the net ...) and then returns to the IDE - the wizard is closed.

steps:
open the new connection.. wizard via popup menu on databases node in services tab -> do something else for few minutes ie. browse the net -> return to ide -> the wizard is no longer there

Petre, is it still valid problem. I cannot reproduce it following your steps. Reopen if appear again. Thanks
