Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1 RC1 (Build 201111171527)
Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_01
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 21.1-b02

- Create two GlassFish servers, one on your development machine (or use the one created by BN install) and one o a different machine
- Create a new WebApp by wizzard, use local GF
- Deploy and start the app
--> ok
- in project properties, run point to the remote server
- deploy project
--> deploy fails

BTW: for the remote server I have to provide crdential on every NB start. Didn't NB store these info in foermer versions (6.5, 6.x)?

this looks like issue 205522.

Closing as a dup, since there isn't really strong new info in this issue.
