Description pavelz 2012-01-12 09:18:22 UTC
When I change and save web page (facelets xhtml page, css etc.) it doesn't have any impact to the running application (Tomcat 6). In order to work I must redeploy the application. This perfectly worked on Netbeans 7.0.1.

As this is a single report about this major functionality I must conclude that this issue is specific to your environment. Could you please try to describe step by step instructions what you are doing and for example try to create a new web project with JSF and run it and reproduce the problem and attach such project to this issue and I will try to reproduce it. Thanks.

Unfortunatelly I can't reproduce this bug on simple project. But I can reproduce it on my existing projects which were created in Netbeans 7.0.1 or lower versions.
These projects use RichFaces 3.3.3, JSF 1.2, Facelets 1.1.15, EclipseLink 1.1.4, Log4J 1.2.15.
I noticed that updated pages are not refreshed in the folder build/web

And Compile-on-Save (in Compile tab) and Deploy-on-Save (in Run tab) are enabled, right?
Comment 4 pavelz 2012-01-18 13:15:14 UTC
Compile-on-Save is enabled. Deploy-on-Save is not. With these settings it worked in Netbeans 7.0.1. and previous versions.
When I enable Deploy-on-Save then it works. But I suppose it doesn't solve the problem. I posted my problem here http://forums.netbeans.org/topic45896.html. There is one reply which states the same problem.
