With Netbeans 7.0.1 changes on javascript files were visible in the running/debuggin application without deploy on save option enabled.
with Netbeans 7.1 the deploy on save option has to be enabled even for deploy javascript files  and this slows down.

Is possible to have the same behaviour as in the 7.0.1.

This option was removed from 7.1 and reintroduced in 7.2 as "Copy Static Resources on Save" option in project's properties. See issue 207149 for more background if interested.
