The desired behavior of the search scope is that

1. If you select some nodes and press Ctrl-F, the scope is set to that selection.

2. If you press Ctrl+Shift-F, the scope is set to Open Projects.

Instead it seems that now the scope is set to whatever was last used in the Search dialog, regardless of which action you ran.
