Any reason why won't attach usually zip archive? I have not an extractor for that format.

7Zip compresses much better, even better than rar, especially on high redundant data such as log files, here 1 : 30.
7Zip should be part of any Linux distro, on Windows, most Archivers read 7Zip.

This is not the 1st time I uploaded 7Zip-compressed data to BugZilla, so I'm wondering about missing extractor.

Should I upload again via standard Zip?

No, it does not, it stopped at 50..65 %
Install of 7.1.1 went without Problems.
