Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1.1 (Build 201203012225)
Operating System = Linux version 3.0.0-16-generic running on i386
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_26
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 20.1-b02

Steps to reproduce this issue:

1. load a SQL script to the editor
2. select a part of the script you want to execute
3. change the connection from the drop-down list
4. right-click the selection to invoke context pop up menu
5. BAM! the selection gets un-selected

This is extremely frustrating on daily basis when you work with selecting parts of your scripts you want to test.
