a java.lang.NULLPOINTEREXCEPTION exception has occured.due to which it is repeatedly scanning the classpath which is not successfully compeleted.
which is not allowing me to run any code.

im using window 7,netbeans 0.5,jdk 1.6.0

Try the following:
1) quit NetBeans
2) delete C:\Users\Admin\.netbeans\5.0\var\cache\mdrstorage\org-netbeans-java directory.

Marian, java/source is only for reports related to the "new" (since NetBeans 6.0) Java infrastructure.
