This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
Everytime I need to analyse a npss file I need to turn samples on. That is annoying. I know about your worry of showing inaccurate counts, but at least please remember my preference and show the same columns I used last time.
Not a bug. Should be implemented for all profiler views.
As you wish. Should I report a separate bug for following misbehavior or treating this one as bug is sufficient? Open .npss file. Change the list of visible columns. Select different interval in time line. The list of visible columns is reset to default. Imho, this is a buggy behavior.
Works as designed, each timeline selection creates a new independent snapshot with default appearance. Implemented persistence of selected tab, visible columns, sorting and filtering for successive selections: http://hg.netbeans.org/profiler-main/rev/cefbaa407fce. Feel free to file a new RFE for your original requirement.
Integrated into 'main-golden', will be available in build *201211010001* on http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/ (upload may still be in progress) Changeset: http://hg.netbeans.org/main-golden/rev/cefbaa407fce User: Jiri Sedlacek <jis@netbeans.org> Log: Bugfix #220712 - persistence of snapshot UI in snaptracer
