I am not able to save changes made to text files that do not belong to a project. When a change is made to a text file the save button remains greyed out yet the undo button becomes active, the save as button is active and appears to work (no errors are shown) but no file is created. I have check the permissions on the file and that all seems correct, yet using the save as button to the /tmp directory still fails to create a file. Creating a simple project in the /tmp directory and editing the file works fine. OS Ubuntu 12.04 64bit Netbeans 7.0.1 Regards munga
Tested on NB7.3 and it works fine (created /tmp/a.txt and edited and saved fine) so it's likely a problem of the 7.0.1 version only.
