After fisrt installation Glassfish works fine. But if you stop it and run again a project the netbeans just displays starting glassfish and waits there forever. Uninstalling and reinstalling netbeans solves the problem till the first time you stop the glassfish then the same waiting forever situation happens

Please, provide more details - how did you install GlassFish (with NetBeans or standalone), what version/build of NetBeans do you use, attach IDE log (main menu View -> IDE Log), attach complete server log. Thank you in advance.

I am sorry I can not provide any more useful info since I moved to another computer with Windows 7, where everything works perfect, when having similar products with Ubuntu I unchecked the Use Proxy IDE Settings in the properties of the server and the problem was fixed, however that did not help much in Vista. Thank you for your immediate response to my problem.
