[ BUILD # : fcs candidat ] [ JDK VERSION : 1.7.0_13 ] I have netbeans 7.3 latest fcs candidate, with jdk 7u13 x64 on windows 7. I have netbeans pointing at the version of glassfish 3.1.2.2 that is publicly available from the glassfish downloads site. after I start glassfish, the status badge on the glassfish server icon correctly shows it as running. however, it does not revert back to the non-running indication after glassfish is stopped. note: I virtually always start glassfish in debug mode. I note that doing a manual refresh does cause the status badge to correctly update to the non-running state.
Looks like shutdown of GlassFish may take too long to get status updated. I can't do much with this in 7.3 or 7.3.1 branches. This will be fixed in next major release. I would like to implement some permanent background checking which will allow status updates for long tasks.
Integrated into 'main-golden', will be available in build *201303112300* on http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/ (upload may still be in progress) Changeset: http://hg.netbeans.org/main-golden/rev/11489e81b1fa User: Tomas Kraus <TomasKraus@netbeans.org> Log: #226610 - Startup timeout raised to 5 minutes #226301 - Shutdown timeout raised to 3 minutes

I'm still missing fix test results. Unfortunately I can't reproduce this in my development environment.
Still has no response about testing an attempt to fix this issue. Please reopen this bug when you'll test it with latest build from http://bertram2.netbeans.org:8080/job/web-main-javaee7
