Description gechoo 2013-03-13 10:10:00 UTC
netBeans refuses to let me create new projects, it tells me that the project exists and is not empty. I can personaly guarantee that i have tested making completly new projects where the folders most definetly did not exist prior to attempting to create the project.

I have tried reinstalling netbeans, changing the project location. keeping the project location but moving the files that are already there.

When i create a project it will create the folder but not the .java files.
If enter the project folders through the program and create my own .java files it will give me compile errors IE. java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:

I have googled the interwebs for solutions, and i have seen others with the same problems but none of the fixes they have suggested seem to work.

Please help me with a solution, I enjoy using your IDE but if this problem persists I cannot continue to do so.

Oh and i am running the latest version of NetBeans. The latest version available on your website.

Thanks in advance
