My default background color is black. I-bar cursor is dark gray and is near invisible. Changing Fonts & Colors->Highlights->Caret color does not affect cursor color.

It changes caret (the blinking |). If not please reopen and describe your version, since it works on my dev build (ubuntu).

The cursor should be change in os.
