Description Petr Jiricka 2013-04-09 11:41:49 UTC
Per the requirement of the security office, instructions on changing the default GlassFish password need to be documented. Tonda and I discussed this, and we suggest to add this information to the installation document, section "Customizing Your Installation". This section should have a new bullet point for changing the password, which may link to a FAQ page in wiki for the actual instructions.

The steps are roughly the following:
- Start GlassFish from the Services tab
- Choose "View Domain Admin Console" in the popup menu of the GlassFish node
- Change the password using the admin console
- In the properties panel of the GlassFish instance in the IDE, change the password to match the new password specified in the admin console

Thanks.

Cc'ing also Tomas Kraus - Tomas can you confirm the above is correct?

If the current wording is acceptable then closing as fixed.
