escape key doesn't close the tag attribute customizer.
Peter : a11y is a module, and your desribed bug is in another module !!!!!!!!! A11Y issues file against appropriate module and add keyword A11Y. IMHO: from your descriptions isn't clear : which customizer? Forte vs. NetBeans? build number ? jdk version ? Without additional information we cannot resolve this one. closed as INVALID. Please add additional information and open against appropriate module . Thanks in advance.
invalid
Hi, according to QA process, you can't close this bug (I should be the one to close it). And, I don't agree that it should be closed, in fact, it's extremely important that it remain open due to deadline constraints (bugs filed after Friday, May 3 aren't going to be fixed unless they're showstoppers.) So, with that in mind, I am reopening the bug and I'll attempt to answer your questions: 1) which customizer? This is the "Tag Attribute" customizer from the tag library editor module. You can reach it by creating a new tag library, right-clicking it and selecting "Add Tag" and then right clicking that tag and adding attribute. 2) Forte for Java, build May5_2 3) JDK 1.4 Peter
changed component/subcomponent to web/taglibed
Hi, according to QA process !!! : everybody can close issue if: - issue doesn't contain appropriate information (JDK version, product, build number, steps to reproduce, .. ) - issue isn't filed against appropriate module and from description and summary isn't possible choose module that it should be filed ======= I am owner of this module(a11y) and this issue isn't in my module !!! (this is reason why I closed it) hereby I am QA Engineer responsible for core quality and I don't know which module is responsible. INVALID ?! I have set resolution to INVALID (see http://www.netbeans.org/issues/bug_status.html ) : INVALID = "The problem described is not an issue" Why you didn't open this one against appropriate module ?!?!?! Please, read my comments again one line after another and file this issue against appropriate module !!! Thanks in advance, Marian.
Next time, please with changing Component change : - QA contact - assignedTo if you don't change these fields , people who works on appropriate module don't know about this one !
When a tag attribute customizer comes up in the process of editing a tag attribute, no field is selected. When this happens, ESC does not close the dialog. If a field is selected, ESC does close the dialog. When a new tag attribute is created with the new tag attribute dialog, the name field had the cursor in it, and so ESC works. The solution is to putthe cursor in some field (i.e. make it active) when bringing up the customizer. Then ESC will work.
works in NB3.5
Verified that it works for me in NetBeans dev build 200303030100.
