Installed the official Debian Wheezy amd64 ( http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current-live/amd64/iso-hybrid/ ).

The issue can be replicated with Netbeans 7.3, 7.3.1 and 7.4Beta (Build 201307092200)

Chromium is installed from .deb packages on /usr/bin/chromium

The executable "chromium-browser" is not available with this debian distribution. It is just "chromium"


There is no way of running a HTML5 projects with the "netbeans-chromium connector extension" working unless a symbolic link is created for "chromium-browser" like this:


sudo ln -s /usr/bin/chromium /usr/bin/chromium-browser
