When I change project setting or setting of setting of IDE itself, NB freezes and become totally unresponsive. Cursor is spinning and all IDE is dead and needs to be forcibly restarted. 

I use OS X Mavericks, Macbook Pro (the latest version).

Version of Java:

java version "1.7.0_45"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_45-b18)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.45-b08, mixed mode)

I also tried NB 7.3.1 but the same problem occurs.

If do you need more detailed information, please specify, I'll provide it.

Hi, thanks for your report ... we need at least a thread-dump(generated at the time of freeze)  and messages.log file.
