This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 239483, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

aravindhand: When I try to open a Recent Project, this problem occured

tbrunhoff: reparse project (very big tree of sources)

petrk: Closed project

GUEST: restarted NetBeans with 5 open C++ projects

GUEST: opened file form Files window.

Several projects were opened last time I quit.  These were upgraded from 7.4.

NB was opened and left to do it's scanning while I read email.  When I came back exception was listed.  No interaction by me.

All exception reports are old (8 beta) and old dev version.
A lot of repository issues were resolved since then.

Please try 8.0
