Description ppesci 2014-06-10 00:04:42 UTC
I have several JavaME applications projects running in Netbeans 7.4, using WTK 2.5.2 and 2.5.2_01 (last versions available for linux). Netbeans 8.0 can recognize the platform, can activate the plugins but do not recognize the projects.

If I try to create a new JavaME project, the only option showed is JavaME embeded :(.

Clear component field for correct assignment since this is not MESDK integration issue.

I found a solution to the problem. That was uninstall the JavaME plugins and install them again in Netbeans 8.0. But I don't know if this solution will work for everyone.

NetBeans 8.0 supports only ME SDK 8.0 and later by default. It is still possible to download Mobility module (default ME module until NetBeans 8.0) from Update Center to work with ME 3.x and older projects. There is no need to uninstall anything. These modules can coexist side-by-side.
