Title says it all. I have tried several clean installs, but nothing seems to work.

Whenever I try to set up the profiler (even with no project lined up) I cannot seem to make it past the calibration routine, specifically i get stuck on "connecting to target vm" This continues indefinitely.

If I close this I get a sees of error screens (http://imgur.com/a/tjTc4)

Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried to calibrate also the JDK 7?

The calibration uses comm port + 1, which is 5141 for the default settings. Are you sure the port isn't blocked by a firewall?

Unfortunately, I do not have access to the machine any longer; It was a work computer for a temporary job. Unless others have this same issue, i think this issue should be closed
